These are in the tool warehouse of our Massage Therapists allowing for a broader spectrum of approaches to better facilitate healing in each patient/client. Although a doctor is not needed to provide a prescription, it is recommended that the patient see there PCP to narrow down the scope of the area that needs attention to provide this service.

Although these same techniques used in Sports Massage can be very beneficial for the average person, like those who have careers that can be physically demanding. This modality of massage is normally not administered in a whole-body massage treatment, it is focused on a specific area of treatment. Aiding the speed of recovery time after injury, heavy training regiment, improvement of muscular performance by breaking apart knots of muscle in the tissues and improving the natural Range of Motion of the body.
What is Deep Tissue Massage?
This is a Modality of massage that is directed at the deepest layers of muscle tissue. Deep Tissue Massage will allow the facilitation of improved muscle health, improved circulation, remove knots and adhesions, soothe aches, pains and swelling, and decreases tightness of those muscles. Using firm pressure, long and slow movements allows for the therapist to reach the deeper muscle/fascia aiding in that muscular tissue’s relief, your discomfort and increased well-being.
